A large lower-middle-class family of twelve members with a lot of expenses including household expenses, educational expenses of the children. The family head (father) participates in social work which also costs a substantial amount which is not less than the family expense. In one afternoon, the father came home with a cow. The reason was to feed the children milk every day to provide them nutrition. The cow gave birth in time and started milking. However, it was not possible to feed children this milk for a long while. The duration was not more than three weeks. The cow with the calf needed to be sent to another house one afternoon to arrange money for household expenses. Although I can’t remember the whole story, I can still feel the family members’ lament, not for the milk, but for the cow and her calf.
